Book Review of After Dark (Night Owl series) by M. Pierce

I almost didn’t want to finish reading this book. I didn’t want the series to end and I sure didn’t want to say goodbye to two of my favorite characters. Dirty mouth Matt Sky and sweet Hannah. This very clever and unique series shocked me and had me blushing at the same time. In this final book, it picks right up from the second book. There is no time lapse but things have changed a bit and Hannah is trying to figure out if it was changed for the better.

So how did I like the book?

Well I LOVED IT! I loved how this series wrapped up Hannah and Matt’s story. Once you do read it you understand that the author cleverly ended it the Matthew Sky way. Hannah really grows leaps and bounds towards the end. She is faced with a new found fetish Matt is into and is faced with deciding whether to talk to him about what she learned. Matt is Matt – still really paranoid and moves and works through his issues his own way. There are some HUGE plot twists that I am not going to tell you about due to the fact that it would ruin this read for you, but you can read my review of the first book just in case you didn’t get a chance to read the first one. This series is addicting and it’s a good time to start reading the series because now you wouldn’t be left with a HECK of a couple of cliff hangers from both books. You may not be fan of cliff hangers, but NIGHT OWL IS. SO. WORTH. IT! Can’t wait to read what else this author writes. 4.5 amazing stars!!
