The Alexanders series by M. Malone
Genre: New Adult
I discovered this author about a month ago, so I missed the two prior releases in The Alexanders series. Therefore I am going to post three separate posts for each of the books in this series. Book #2’s cover (and the book blurb) caught my eye and made me really want to read this book
.Goodreads Blurb

Of course, her luck lands her passed out in the grass in front of resident bad boy, music producer Jackson Alexander. Strike 1!
Then she realizes Raina’s out of the country and she has nowhere else to go. Strike 2!

.First up (Book One)
“One More Day” by M. Malone
Genre: New Adult
Book Links: Amazon and Barnes and Noble
.This book starts with you meeting the lead character, Jackson Alexander, and his genetically gifted brothers. You get this great sense of family that you yourself want to join. The whole family is close and bound by a history of love. I felt signs when hearing the brothers’ banter back and forth that caused me to smile a lot while I read. The Alexander men were all really good guys, but all of them had their hang ups. There was also an ingrained desire to fiercely protector their family and with that protection, the undeniable love for one and another. But then there are also the genetically gifted twin sisters. Ridley has to go into hiding due to a major case that she found herself involved in. I really liked Ridley- she had no idea how innocent she portrayed herself as and really wanted to just be invisible. I was so glad M. Malone wrote the perfect looking sisters have their faults too. I mean, not flaws by looks- but flaws by their perception of themselves. I don’t know about you, but often I see the beautiful people on TV and think
.
“Oh their life must be perfect, they have the perfect body and face. What kind of real issue do you have that can’t be fixed by money or power?”
.
The lack of being raised by loving parents and the way they grew up directly affects how they react to situations and their life choices. The ahhhh factor in this book is the love for family. I read this book and felt that I want to be related to the Alexanders. It seems like a great plan, they have this strong bond that cannot be broken. Overall the sense of history and love is the formula for their draw. No family is perfect and this family isn’t the exception. But you felt like no matter what the issue, this family can handle it. Overall, I connected with the characters-each lead Alexander family member makes you swoon! I do recommend this book for those who love Romance. You will not be disappointed! Light heartwarming read with a 3 out of 5 heat factor.

(Book Two)
“The Things I Do For You” by M. Malone
Genre: New Adult
Book Links: Amazon & Barnes and Noble .
This book explores Raina and Nicholas Alexander’s story. Both characters were the opposites of their siblings, Ridley and Jackson (from “One More Day”.) Raina is the career driven model with a plan and Nicholas is the driven financially planner without a plan. The perfect looking couple was very entertaining and focused on Raina’s plan for her future. If you read the first book then you know that they had a fling in the past that resounds in their lives today.
The same sense of family and togetherness is in this book as was in “One More Day.” The heat factor on this one is smoking hot 4 out of 5.

(Book Three)
“He’s the Man” by M. Malone
Genre: New Adult
Book Links: Amazon & Barnes and Noble
.
This book is the love story between Sergeant Matt and Penelope which really tugged at my heart. Matt, who had just got home from the Gulf War, is adjusting to civilian life. He has a shoulder injury that needs fixing so that he can pass his military physical test which will allow him to rejoin his squad and return to battle. I made my heart warm to read this story, knowing it would probably have a happy ending. The author addresses PTSD syndrome-Matt struggles with his need to be with his squad. As you know, many war veteran heroes do not have their stories told. Although this is a fictional love story, you really want this love story to be true. Enjoy the suspense and the intense love connection.
The same sense of family and togetherness is in this book continues. The heat factor on this one is smoldering 3.5 out of 5.
