My Review
FINALLY! Gabriel’s Redemption is here – the last and final installment of the series. I am so excited to report that you will not be disappointed. The book starts about a year after the second book and you get updated on what’s been going on as soon as you start reading. I am happy to tell you that you read about what happens to the other characters in the book also: Julia’s father, Gabriel’s father, sister, and brother. You even get to learn what happens to Paulina, Paul (the Angel F#cker), Ann Singer (Crazy Professor), and Christa Peterson (the scorned grad student). This time you really get a sense of what happens from their perspective and it ties in nicely with the story.
The part that I loved about the story was that Gabriel was true to his sexy ways, and that made you love him even more. You really feel for Gabriel and Julia’s relationship because it is the first healthy relationship either one of them has ever had. You see the normal struggle between a couple but you also get to read from both of their perspectives, which makes you feel like you’re going through the trials with them; the strains of trying to balance career and family, fighting past demons, and being open to new relationships in your family. Oh yes, there is a part in the book that threw me for a loop which I got totally wrong, but it ended up being such a great thing in the end.
If you have not had a chance to read the whole series I encourage you to do so; this book is ranked up there if you liked Fifty Shades of Grey. It is well written and is a very compelling story. You will also learn some things about Italy and Dante’s Inferno in a whole different way, which I mean is a good thing.
