Ahhhh.. Another Kristen Ashley novel. This one is from the mountain man series book number five. Normally reading a title either catches my eye or the cover makes me want to read it. But if you look at the cover of this book to me it is not necessarily the most catching the eye in my opinion. There’s mountains in the background looks like a old-fashioned downtown area of a small-town Colorado Village. Normally that wouldn’t get me but because it had Kristen Ashley’s name on it ,it caught my eye.
This particular mountain man’s name is Graham Reese his nickname is (Ham) and there’s Zara (Cookie). He is of course gorgeous and Zara is beautiful but that’s not what gets you it Kristen Ashley’s is signature Alpha male speak is signature to her writing style.

Kristen Ashley style of writing how do I describe it? It ‘s direct, to the point, very decisive, has you re-reading lines, kicks you in the gut, just plan old dirty in a good way. You know when you read anything she writes it will have the same style of writing and it never gets old.
This particular book is number 5 in the series but it reads as a standalone book. You don’t have to read the first book in the series to understand what is going on but I do recommend all the stories in the series and are all the same alpha male dominated romance. What is also nice about this book is at the end of the book, if you have not had a chance to read the first book you can read some chapters at the end of the book.
