First thought after reading this book-
Message to the author->O.M.G!!! I just finished your book not thinking I would feel compelled to finish it in one day! I thought I would just read the first chapter and then finish sometime next week, well that plan went out the door. To say that I loved it would just not do it justice. I laughed, I cried, and I was talking back to the book as if the characters were going to talk back at me. I pictured Ansel Elgort (In Divergent and The Fault of our stars and a very nice guy, I got to meet him) as Kaeleb and I didn’t have a certain actress for Raven/Aubrey but can picture her in my head.
Anyway, I will stop now and give myself time before I write my review but had to reach out and tell you how much I enjoyed the book.

Wow – just wow… I really loved this story and I feel like I have to tell everyone I know about it. It’s not just some ordinary New Adult book , it’s a story that some would say they could relate to and see a little of their own story in. Don’t worry, this has no cliffhanger and it is a standalone novel thus far, but it really speaks to our times now and creates a very enthralling story.
“A story of discovering not only myself, but the meaning of true friendship and unconditional love.”
The story starts off with the main character Aubrey, who is on her way to college and you get a little background knowledge of how we got to where we are at present.
Once Aubrey gets to her dorm and meets her roommate, BAM – the fun begins. This lovely little dance goes on and builds constant tension that makes you want to burst throughout the story. I mean, I was wound up so tight my teeth started to grit in anticipation. The story that is told is one that is unique and very sad, but the author wrote this book in such a way that you feel so entertained, invested in the characters and so much love for this couple and friendships they have that you are rooting and cheering the whole way.
“You need to get lost? You come to me. I’ll take you to places you never knew existed.”
The reason why I really loved this book and I feel like this is a book every teenager/soon to be college student should read is because it covers a full 4 years of college and a little after and all the obstacles that come your way in your life. If you like Colleen Hoover’s books like Hopeless and Slammed you will love this book, I give it 5 stars!
