Now, there were some people who’ve heard about my birthday and wanted to stop by, and I was so excited when the author J.B Salsbury told me that Jonah and Blake from Fighting for Flight heard about my birthday and wanted to talk to me. I was a nervous wreck and I kept talking to myself a lot and said “self, they put on one fictional pant leg on at a time as I do, right?” lol But that did not help, so I just held my breath and entered the room…

Jonah and Blake from Fighting for Flight —-> review
.
“What up, Andrea? Heard it was your birthday. Wanted to stop by your blog and drop a little something off from Raven—”
.
“Dude, sorry I’m late.” Blake strolls through the door, all swagger and cocky grin. “Did someone order a stripper for this shindig?”
.
Jonah shakes his head. “A stripper? It’s not your birthday, dumbass. It’s Andrea’s.”
.
Blake shrugs and drops into an overstuffed lounge chair, making himself at home. “So. Maybe Andrea likes strippers.”
.
“You’re an idiot.”
.
“Am I?” Blake tilts his head and raises one eyebrow. “Two words, bro. Magic. Mike.”
.
Jonah makes a face like he tasted something sour and stares silently at his friend.
.
“What?” Blake stares back for a beat, and then rolls his eyes. “Whatever. Anyway…hey, Andrea. Happy Birthday, beautiful. I hope it’s a good one, and if you make it to Vegas look me up. I’ll take you to The Blackout for some live music and an open tab.”
.
“Yeah, Raven told me to let you know you’ve got a place to stay if you ever come in town. And a car to drive.” Jonah leans to the side to pull an envelope from his back pocket. “This is from us. It’s tickets to my next fight in Houston.”
.
“Fight tickets? Really. You’re such an amateur.” Blake leans to the side and pulls a tiny wad of satin and strings from his back pocket. “You’re gonna love—”
.
Jonah slaps the silky scraps from Blake’s hand. “You can’t give her that.”
.
Blake’s jaw goes slack, eyes focused on his now empty hand. “Dick. I can’t believe you did that.” He scoops up his gift from where it landed on the floor. “I picked these out myself.”
.
Jonah leans in. “You cannot give her those,” he whisper-yells.
.
“Girls love lingerie.”
.
“Yeah, from their boyfriends or husbands. Not from some douche that’s stopping by to say hi.”
.
“Huh.” He twirls the fabric and strings around his fingers. “But I signed them.”
.
Jonah rolls his lips between his teeth, fighting a smile.
.
“I thought it would mean more if they were personalized.” Blake points to the tiny triangle of red fabric where his name is scribbled in black ink.
.
Losing the battle with his smile, Jonah throws his head back with a bark of laughter. “That’s sick. How do you think the man in her life is gonna feel when she brings those home?”
.
“These are hot! He’ll thank me.”
.
“Wow. You’re totally clueless. I feel sorry for the chick you end up with.”
.
“Ain’t ending up with one chick. I’m ending with several.”
.
“We’ll see about that.” Jonah runs a hand through his perfectly messy black hair. “I’m gonna take off. Andrea, Happy Birthday.” He flashes a one-dimpled smile. “Make it count.” His long legs eat up the space to the door. He smacks the back of Blake’s head as he passes. “Later, Captain Idiot.”
.
“Ow—dick!” Blake rubs his head, seeming to not notice that he’s doing it with the skimpy lingerie hand. “No present, I guess.” He shoves the gift back into his pocket mumbling something about saving them for another time. “But my offer still stands if you can drag ass to the desert.” He pushes up from his chair and turns to leave. “Oh, and thanks for all the support you’re giving Jonah’s book. I hope you’ll do the same for mine. After all…” One side of his mouth curls into a grin. “Mine’s bigger.”
.
Happy Birthday, Andrea! From all the cast of Fighting for Flight, and most especially…from me.
