“Blake loves Livia, He counts her smiles, Livia loves Blake, eternally ,Welcome to Poughkeepsie”
Poughkeepsie by Debra Anastasia has been a cult hit bestseller since 2011. A homeless guy counting the smiles of a kind train commuter spiraled into a novel that was nominated by the Rockstars of Romance as one of the most romantic stories ever and won 2nd place! It was a story that deserved getting a jumbo-sized enhancement. Extra scenes out the ying yang was, of course, a huge part of the fun. Getting to spend some of those previously undiscovered first moments with Blake and Livia or the moment he proposed was worth exploring. In Debra’s wildest dreams she imagined Poughkeepsie with its own soundtrack, anchored by her favorite musicians. When blockbuster talent Ron Pope signed on with fourteen songs and then Rustic Overtones agreed as well, she knew things were going to get crazy cool.
After almost two full years of development, the Enhanced Poughkeepsie is ready. Debra lost count of the hours spent, as did the developer poured into this. It was beast, and more amazing than she could have ever imagined. This app became the most exceptional reading experience Debra could devise for her readers. Trailer Link

My Review
An unforgettable experience that will forever change you read and enjoy books. Debra Anastasia has developed an industry-changing product that will revolutionize how you read and enjoy your favorite books.
Before I start with this review, I have to say this is the very first time I have done a review like this. Because there is no other product out there like this, I do not have anything to compare it too. When Debra Anastasia first talked about this project during an author interview I had with her I did not know what to expect. But ever since I have had this really cool Enhanced Collector’s Edition Poughkeepsie on my iPad I haven’t stopped smiling.
The things you need to have before reading this book: a love for romance books, a love for Poughkeepsie or a love for a new and innovative way of book reading experience. Because I loved this book, I looooved this application. I got to experience the story all over again but with more vivid pictures and an understanding of the development of the story. You get this behind the scene knowledge on things that I wondered about myself like, what was the author thinking when she wrote that Blake carried around a cardboard piano, to counting kisses.
I enjoyed reading about what’s was going on in the characters’ heads during scenes; the author give little snippets on explanations. This application lasts for days on end, and I am still going back to parts and enjoying different sections of the collection. There are interviews with characters in the book – even Mouse, which is the interview I liked the most. Even though his character is dead you get to meet him again and find out why he knitted and how he got where he was in the book. There is a countless number of extra added scenes that the author either added to the app new or they were previously deleted from the book. You can read in the order that the book is written or you can go straight to the interviews and author out-takes. You get to listen to the music the author listened to or inspired the scenes she wrote, and there are interactive games that are Poughkeepsie inspired. There are some fun moments where the author just breaks out and teaches you a skill that maybe a character did, like Knitting (Mouse) and other skills that I know I had no idea to do or even thought of learning until this application. Overall, I felt this application is the new wave of the reading experience; we had digital reading, and now there’s this enhanced addition. Now I don’t think it will take away from good old-fashioned reading a book, I think this would be an additional way to feel more involved in the book than just simply reading it, and a way for super fans of Poughkeepsie to enjoy. 5 stars across the board – I loooooved this application and I’m still playing with it. Here is a list of information about the application.
